Fewer than 12 staff

The paperwork, done properly, at a price that makes sense for a small firm.

Most of what we do rests on asking your people anonymously. Under 12 staff we cannot do that honestly, so we do not offer it and we do not pretend. What we can do is give you the documents, keep them current, and record what you actually did month by month.

£79 a month

Then £49 a month from month thirteen. No minimum term, no notice period, no payment up front.

  • A staff handbook written round your business, 22 sections, not a template with your name at the top
  • A harassment risk assessment and a record of the reasonable steps you have taken
  • Your handbook hosted at a link, with each person's acknowledgement dated and recorded
  • A toolbox talk every month, in your name, with a QR code your people scan to record they were there
  • Every letter you might need, filled in with your names and kept current
  • Your documents reissued twice a year, timed to when the law actually changes
  • Once a year, a single dated page summarising everything you did
  • No anonymous staff survey, at any price, because it cannot be anonymous at your size
  • No advice line, no HR software, no legal advice
Why the survey is not on that list. Our staff survey reports nothing unless at least four people in a role band have answered, because below that an answer stops being anonymous and becomes a name. In a firm of eight that floor cannot be honoured. Some providers will sell you a survey anyway. We would rather tell you plainly that your assessment rests on what you and your managers tell us, and write that on the front page of your own document so nobody is misled later, including you.

What the law is about to ask of you

From 30 October 2026 every employer has to take all reasonable steps to prevent harassment of their people, including harassment by customers, hauliers, contractors and the public. A policy in a drawer does not meet that. Evidence of action does. From 1 January 2027 the qualifying period for unfair dismissal drops to six months with no cap on what a tribunal can award, and the tribunal claim window doubled to six months on 1 October 2026.

None of that has a small employer exemption. A nine-person firm carries the same duty as a ninety-person one, with nobody in the building whose job it is to keep up.

What you get every month

The documents are the start, not the product. What makes them worth anything two years from now is the register behind them: who acknowledged the handbook and when, who attended which toolbox talk, what was reissued and why. That is the difference between saying you took it seriously and showing it.

If you stop, the documents are yours to keep. The hosting, the register and the yearly summary run for as long as you subscribe.

What it costs if you stop

Your first year includes a build charge of £360, which is what it costs to produce your documents, and £30 of it is written off every month you stay. Stop before it is cleared and you settle what is left of it, nothing else, and no future monthly payments are owed. After twelve months it is gone and the price falls to £49. There is no minimum term and no notice period.

If you are 12 staff or more

Then this is not the right one. From 12 upwards we can run the anonymous survey properly, which is what turns an assessment from your account of the business into evidence. See the three main options.

Start with the free one.

Send whatever you have, a handbook, a contract, a policy from a drawer, and within five working days you get one page listing what in it no longer holds up. If it is all in order we will say so, and you will not hear from us again.
